In the winter of 2017, we first saw the old abandoned factory building hidden in the heart of Copenhagen, with the Øresund and Refshaleøen on one side, and Christianshavn and green areas on the other.
With extensive experience from running both an event agency and the event venue Papirhallen, we were able to create the perfect setting for producing and hosting unique and flexible events.
In the winter of 2017, the renewal of an old abandoned factory at Kløvermarken, Copenhagen S, began. Even then, the factory had a unique atmosphere and countless possibilities: high ceilings, floating platforms, an impressive tower structure, and plenty of space in the old storage hall.
Little by little, we renovated the old factory, bringing life to spaces that had stood empty for decades. Gradually, the raw industrial atmosphere transformed into the setting for a modern venue, providing room and possibilities for creating unique events and experiences.
The team behind it has many years of experience with events from our previous venue, Papirhallen, as well as organizing events at other venues in Denmark and abroad. The Plant CPH thus became the setting for the ideal experience venue, offering unique and flexible production conditions. A modern venue in a historic setting!
