A Story of Function

1. Historical Beginnings

An area steeped in the history of Copenhagen’s industrial development from the 1950s to the present. Raffinaderivej is named after the former refinery that once stood just a stone’s throw from where The Plant is located today.

2. Industry & Development

The factory was built by A.P. Møller Mærsk in 1962 for the production of Danish raw materials and later for sorting plastic waste, and was thus part of the larger industrial area around Refshaleøen and Holmen

3. Innovation & Growth

All the old factories in the area have today been transformed by entrepreneurs, and the area has become a new part of the capital’s dynamic development. We aim to create unique universes and unforgettable memories.

The main venue has 1,000 m² of floor space and measures 45.5 m deep × 17.3 m wide.

Parkering

Plads til 170 biler med adgang fra Raffinaderivej. Pladserne administreres til dagligt af OnePark, men ved afholdelse af arrangementer er det muligt at købe dagskort.

Kapacitet

The Plant er godkendt op til 1600 gæster. Der skal altid foreligge en godkendt brandtegning fra Københavns Brandvæsen ved opstilling af materiel.
